Just a 20 minute walk from our campsite is Hayling Island’s beach front, a long stretch of sand and stone beach with plenty of amenities along the way.
The Railway runs the one mile between the popular funfair at Beachlands and Eastoke corner with it’s shops, pubs and Cafes.
Funland Amusement Park
Situated along the beachfront of Hayling Island, Funland amusement park has rides for all ages, restaurants, ice cream and arcades for the whole family to enjoy!
Hayling Golf Club
Hayling golf course is ranked in the ‘UK Top 100’ golf courses by Golf Monthly.
It is considered to be a quality test of golf, if the wind is blowing it will certainly concentrate the mind.
Portsmouth Historic Dockyard
Boasting the HMS Victory, Mary Rose, HMS Warrior 1860, Royal Naval Museum, Action Stations, Harbour Tours, The Historicv Dockyard… there is plenty to see in Portsmouth.

The Isle of Wight is an island just off the coast of Portsmouth accessible by regular ferries or a hovercraft! Full with history, landscapes and lovely beaches there is plenty too see.

The only way to reveal The New Forest’s hidden gems and truly appreciate the sights, sounds and smells of the forest is to get out there and explore.
Try to escape from the confines of the car and head out on foot, bicycle or on horseback to get a more intimate feel of the forest, its coast and villages.
